Floral Friends of Frampton
Floral Friends of Frampton is a voluntary group set up to improve our local environment by planting flowering plants around the village.

Local volunteers including children have made a start by planting daffodil bulbs in Woodend Road and in Church Road. They have also built and installed the first three planters outside the shops in Lower Stone Close.

Future activities include:
  • building and planting additional planters at strategic places, eg near to local shops,
  • creating floral gateways to the village,
  • creating a community garden at the Brockeridge Centre,
  • planting wild flowers in the Centenary Field.

The group is participating in the Royal Horticultural Society It’s Your Neighbourhood scheme for volunteer-led community gardening groups which are focused on cleaning up and greening up their local area. It also provides small community groups with the chance to get involved in the wider RHS Britain in Bloom.

Floral Friends now have their own website. Visit http://ffframpton.wix.com/frampton-cotterell for the latest information.
