Do you, or someone you know, have a story to share about an inspiring woman of South Gloucestershire. You are invited to nominate a women who you feel has made an impact on local, national or international life in the last 100 years and has a connection with South Gloucestershire.

The story of women’s achievements in South Gloucestershire will include the role women have played in the development of farming, engineering, culture, sport, politics, education, community services, business, art and science. If they’ve got a connection to South Gloucestershire then we want to hear from you and uncover stories never told before which will help to highlight the achievements of inspirational women over the past 100 years.

To nominate a woman who inspires you or for more information visit http://www.southglos.gov.uk/leisure-and-culture/museums-and-galleries/inspiring-women-legacy-first-world-war-south-gloucestershire/.

A selection of the stories will be used to create learning resources, for children at primary and secondary schools, and a public exhibition which will tour South Gloucestershire.
