With the publication of the Frampton Cotterell Village Plan and its acceptance by the Parish Council, Village Action is concentrating on delivering some of the improvements which residents have identified in the plan. Initiatives which are in hand are:
  • the Good Neighbours Scheme
  • the Green Dog Walkers Scheme.
  • applying for funding for new more adventurous play equipment
  • Community Speed Watch
  • encouraging more Neighbourhood Watch groups
  • Village Action Litter Busters
  • litter bin painting
  • working with the Parish Council to ensure that all residents are kept informed by delivering the Parish Newsletter.
  • supporting campaigns to prevent large scale housing development
  • supporting community events such as the Frampton Festival.
Village Action is always looking for new people to help push through these and other initiatives. If you would like to get involved with any activities to improve the community please contact us.

In particular we will soon be looking to appoint a new treasurer as our current treasurer is planning to move out of the area later this year to be closer to family. The duties require someone with reasonable administrative skills to handle the finances of Village Action but as a voluntary group we don't have many financial transactions so the duties are not too onerous! We would be pleased to hear from you if you feel you could help.
