Village Walks Diary

You are welcome to join our free, guided local walks; meet at 10.20am, and join us for refreshments and friendly chat afterwards. No need to book.

There are two categories of walk:

    • Short strolls/Walking for Health. 1 or 2 miles. Ideal for those new to exercise or returning from injury, for those using mobility aids or wheelchairs, for infant and other buggies.

    • Rural walks/Stepping Forward. 3 to 4 miles, duration about 1.5 hours, can be muddy and slippery after rain so sturdy footwear advised.

If you'd like to explore the area yourself, we have collected descriptions of some Local Walks for you to enjoy.

Due to coronavirus restrictions no guided walks are scheduled at present. We look forward to resuming the programme of walks when current restrictions are lifted.
